Aspire Athos Tank Free E Liquids

This 2ml TPD version of the Aspire Athos Tank promotes the company to the premier league of high-power, multi-core atomizers. While SMOK’s TFV8 ‘Baby Beast’ tanks have seemed an unstoppable force, Aspire are certainly giving the league-leaders a run for their money with this 25mm diameter cloud chasing tank.

First seen as part of the Aspire Speeder Starter Kit, the Athos tank has an elegant profile, along with some very practical features. The tank’s most noticeable feature is a transparent, wide-bore drip-tip with a conical profile. A longer Delrin drip-tip is also shipped with the tank.

The drip-tip attaches to a screw-down Delrin top-cap. The insulating Delrin cap ensures that the extra heat generated by the high-wattage atomizers isn’t transferred up to the drip-tip. When you need to fill the tank with e liquid, you simply unscrew the Delrin top cap. This exposes the Athos tank’s big top-filling port. From there, it’s easy to top-up the Pyrex glass reservoir with a 2ml, TPD legal fill of e juice.

For regular vapers, the Athos tank’s coil replacement system holds no surprises. The tank is quickly and easily dismantled so that a new coil can be screwed into position. The Athos tank is designed for functional practicality rather than frills or innovations. This makes it easy to clean and maintain with the supplied spare parts.

The Athos tank comes fitted with a big, A5 penta-core coil. With a resistance of 0.16 Ohms and phenomenal through-coil airflow, this is a real cloud chaser. Even at the rated 100 to 120 Watts, the vape remains comfortably warm rather than hot. For a less demanding vape try the alternative, A3 triple-core coil. This 0.3 Ohm mega-coil comes with breezy airflow and a rating of 60 to 75 Watts. Both coils feature Kanthal coil wire and individual wicks of pure organic cotton.

Fine-tune the performance of your Athos tank with its versatile, dual port airflow ring. The ring adjuster can be set to deliver trickle, or full-on ventilation. Reduced airflow settings will reveal the full flavour potential of this practical, high-power tank.

The Aspire Athos Tank comes in a range of 5 finishes: Stainless, Black, Grey, Anodised Rainbow or Gold.
